Mas Sato Design’s mission is to create stylish furniture children will love to use and adults will love to display. What started as a project for his own family grew into a business that helps children to create, imagine and be independent. Mas Sato’s designs are elegant, minimal and decidedly modern. Drawing from both traditional Japanese aesthetics and mid-century modern design, the pieces offer a unique twist to standard children’s furniture. Cutouts, interesting angles and natural finishes set the children’s furniture line apart from mass production pieces. Each design is original and reflects how children really interact with their environment.

Message from Mas:  I am the father of two wonderful children and they are the inspiration for my pieces. I started the Inai Inai Ba! Modern Children's Furniture line out of a strong desire to build high-quality children's furniture with an elegant modern aesthetic without sacrificing utility. The name Inai Inai Ba, [pronounced: ee-nigh, ee-nigh, bah] which roughly translates to "peekaboo" in English, is a nod to my Japanese heritage. While my designs reflect a simple sophistication of traditional Japanese aesthetics, I utilize modern fabrication techniques to create my simple and sturdy pieces.

Each piece is handcrafted in North Carolina, U.S.A.   Inai Inai Ba! Modern Children's Furniture is a collection of Mas Sato Designs.
